Art Gallery

Artists who shape the territory.

Our spaces host works by local artists, celebrating the creativity, identity, and sensitivity of Chapada Diamantina. Each piece dialogues with the architecture, landscape, and guest experience, transforming the hotel into a territory where art, nature, and culture meet.

REMI RUZICKA

IRON ARTIST

Remi Ruzicka is an artist specializing in iron art based in Lençóis, in Chapada Diamantina. His studio, located at the entrance of the city, is known for its sculptural and functional metal pieces, ranging from lamps and furniture to iconic installations, such as large-scale sculptures that engage with both the natural and urban environment. His work translates the material's strength and rusticity, transforming iron into art that integrates design, utility, and aesthetic presence into the region's cultural landscape.

ALCINO CAETANO

ARTIST, HOST, AND OWNER OF ALCINO'S INN

Alcino Caetano is a reference figure in Lençóis for his work as an artist and host. Owner of Estalagem do Alcino, a restored colonial mansion that now houses an inn and studio, he has transformed the space into a true living workshop. Ceramic pieces, hand-painted tiles, and original tableware decorate the rooms, revealing his artistic identity in every detail. His artisanal breakfast was voted one of the best in Brazil by Guia Quatro Rodas, standing out for its creativity and use of local ingredients, served on pieces produced by the artist himself.

JC

Ceramist of Chapada Diamantina

Although there is no formal biography published on major platforms about Jota Cê, he is widely recognized in the local artisan scene for his work in ceramics. His work—marked by a sensitive approach to the material—articulates manual tradition and contemporary expression, establishing a dialogue between form, texture, and the cultural narrative of the Chapada. Jota Cê's ceramics are frequently exhibited in regional studios and galleries, reflecting the identity and spirit of the local landscape.

SILVIA LOPES

Ceramist of Chapada Diamantina

Just like Jota Cê, Silvia Lopes is a ceramicist whose work integrates the region's artisanal production in Lençóis. Her process emphasizes the materiality of clay, exploring forms that evoke the natural and geographical textures of the Chapada's surroundings. Her artistic practice is shared in local studios and exhibitions, forming part of the contemporary tradition of ceramics as a cultural expression in the territory.

Luiz Raimundo

ARTIST AND ENGINEER OF THE CANTO DAS ÁGUAS HOTEL

Luiz Raymundo is an engineer and an essential collaborator in the construction and identity of the Hotel Canto das Águas. Alongside his technical training, he develops his own artistic production, the presence of which permeates many hotel rooms through paintings and pictures that help create a unique atmosphere in each space. His work is marked by aesthetic sensitivity and integration with local architecture, reinforcing the cohesion between the functionality and aesthetic experience of the place.

ELIANA LYRA

ARCHITECT AND CREATOR OF THE FLUIDITY OF THE CANTO DAS ÁGUAS HOTEL

Eliana is the architect responsible for the spatial design of the Hotel Canto das Águas, whose fluidity and integration with nature are hallmarks of the project. Her approach combines architectural rigor, sensitivity to the Chapada Diamantina surroundings, and a focus on the guest experience, creating environments that engage with light, landscape, and local materials. Her vision contributed to the hotel being perceived not just as accommodation, but as a work of art in itself.
